I am a self taught artist and have been receiving animal portrait commissions since the age of 13 as it is often impractical for me to work from life I usually require clear, well posed, close up photographs of the subject(s) ideally taken out doors as flash photography tends to distort colour and look unnatural.

This website is designed to showcase my animal portraits – however I enjoy painting a wide variety of subjects including people, landscapes, houses, gardens, life studies, etc.
